Overview
A learning-focused program for El Paso–based individuals to engage in angel investing and support the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Investor Academy Pilot: Impact
Our inaugural academy successfully brought together a diverse group of regional leaders to strengthen early-stage investing knowledge and ecosystem engagement.
- 14 participants, with 10 completing the program
- 13 expert speakers contributing insights across venture and angel investing
- 8+ hours of instruction focused on investment fundamentals and evaluation
- 100% of participants actively engaged in the startup ecosystem
The program also created meaningful connectivity across the region:
- 84 direct connections between participants and venture/angel investors
- A Meet & Greet convening 39 attendees, resulting in 108 new connections to investors
